I wanted to upgrade my monitor to 1680 x 1050 resolution but didn't really have room for anything bigger than 20". After shopping around a bit, I quickly arrived at this monitor; and I'm very glad I did! The construction is excellent quality and the performance is just what I was looking for. The stand is completely adjustable and the built-in USB ports (2 in back and 2 on the side of the monitor) are very handy. I also like how the USB up-port is located on the back of the panel rather than on the side of the stand like the Samsung 2043BWX. The monitor is very bright, has great color fidelity, and appears to have very little to no ghosting during fast-paced games like Far Cry and Crysis. I really can't think of any cons; I guess it is a little pricey. If this monitor has the features you want, I doubt you'll be disappointed with it. Plus, it's an NEC, which in my book means top-notch quality and performance.
A side note: The first one I ordered had a few dead and/or stuck pixels, which I sincerely believe to be a major anomaly; however, Amazon's excellent customer service gladly returned this one for a full refund. No problems at all with the second one. Thanks Amazon!
